Woolly is excited to once again kick off the Minnesota Mountain Bike Series.  It has been a LONG time since we all got to go racing.

We are working hard to put on the same great race you have come to expect in Woolly Land.  Things are going to look a little different from the COVID perspective and from some construction going on at the high school.  But we are confident that once you are cross-eyed and breathing heavy out blasting through the woods and over the roots and rocks you won't know any different.

Free SWAG and T-Shirt Pre-Order

We are pretty stoked on our 2021 race graphic.  Hopefully you are too.  Every racer this year is going home with a poster as the free give away.

If you want to proudly wear it to the office on Monday morning (or on your Zoom meeting anyhow), we are excited to be doing a limited pre-order for it in shirt form too.

If you have been paying attention in the last year, you'll know that the global supply chain is strained to the max.  So in order to do everything we can to ensure we have the shirts on time to distribute at the race, we are cutting off orders on April 17th.  So think fast and get your order in ASAP.

Head on over to the Woolly website to place your order today.

2021 - Course Maps

Courses are still being developed for this year.  We are out assessing the trail conditions and working through the impacts of some major construction at the high school.  Below you will find the current thoughts.  Be aware that things may change as we get closer to race day.

Kids Comp and Citizen

Start/Finish Details

Please note that the portion of the trail behind the school on the community walking trail will only be open for riding on race day.  Please help us be good trail stewards and do not ride the walking trail prior to race day.  You can enter West Ridge near the normal entrance to the south side of the school and construction area.

Parking Details

With the construction at the high school this year we are down a few parking spots.  We should still be good, but the map below will help you in case we do start to fill up.  Please note that there are a few of the access roads to the school that there is no parking on.

I have been an Edward Jones financial advisor since 2015. My wife, Alicia (Brace) Fisk, and I are currently living in the house that I was raised in with our five children: Sage (9), Jude (8), Foreman (6) and Teal and Tate (3). Alicia teaches piano, guitar and voice lessons from our home and is on the steering team of the St. Croix Valley MOPS group. We are active members of the Woolly Bike Club, where I was a former chair. I am an elder at Hope Church in Osceola and a member of the St Croix Falls-Taylors Falls Rotary Club.

As a lifelong resident of St. Croix Falls, having the opportunity to work and truly make a difference in the lives of the people in the community where I grew up is important to me.

Protect your two-wheeled investment

Corroded chains, stuck cables, and pitted disc brakes wreck your ride and your bike. Bike Jacket is an easy, simple way to protect your bike from the elements that could damage it.

Avoid road crud

Bikes are often on the back of a vehicle being transported somewhere. Driving along the road less traveled can be great—but what dirt and gravel do to bike components is no good.

No more hassling with offhand solutions

Hey, we’ve been there and done that. We’ve messed with plastic bags that flew off on the road and other crazy mishaps. You want to spend your time biking and not hassling with protecting your bike on the road. That’s why we created Bike Jacket! Easy, fast and effective.

Driving Directions from the Twin Cities

Take I-35 North out of the Metro to Hwy 8 (Exit 132) in Forest Lake.  East on Hwy 8 ( about 23 miles) to Wisconsin.  After you cross the bridge into God's Country, you will proceed about 1 mile and turn left onto Industrial Pkwy (opposite KFC) for 2 blocks.  Left onto Maple Drive for 2 blocks.  St Croix Falls High School will be on the right.

Driving Directions from the North (Minnesota)

South on I-35 to North Branch.  In North Branch go East on  Hwy 95 (exit 147) for about 20 miles into Taylors Falls.  At the stop light you will go right onto Hwy 8 into Wisconsin.  Proceed about 1 mile east on Hwy 8.  Left on Industrial Pkwy (opposite KFC) for 2 blocks.  Left onto Maple Drive for 2 blocks.  St Croix Falls High School will be on the right.

 Driving Directions from the East

Take US-8 into St. Croix Falls.  Right on Industrial Pkwy (opposite KFC) for 2 blocks.  Left on Maple Drive for 2 blocks.  St Croix Falls High School will be on the right.

(FYI - If you are coming to pre-ride or anytime other than race weekend, you will probably want to park at the Woolly Trailhead.  Instead of turning left on Maple Drive, you would turn right.   You will see the Woolly Trailhead directly ahead of you after driving 2 blocks.)

If you are going to use a maping program, here is the physical address for the St Croix Falls High School:

740 Maple Drive St. Croix Falls, WI 54024

Please plan to make a great weekend of the race and head up Saturday...or even Friday.  Our first choice for your stay would be one of our past Race Sponsors at the Holiday Inn Express or the Dalles House Motel.  Be sure to tell them you are in town for the race!

We DO NOT have camping available at the race.  The high school will not allow it.  We have several great options within minutes of the race.
