Trails are fully marked and riding great.  We only got a trace amount of rain this morning.  No rain predicted until after the race tomorrow - See you there!

A minor adjustment to the kids comp course was made for safety.  This was already marked correctly during pre-ride.  See the map in the kids comp section below.


Race 9 - Gamehaven Lakeside Grind

Welcome to the Gamehaven Lakeside Grind. This race is held at the Gamehaven Scout Reservation – a beautiful 265 acre camp and the Gamehaven Sports and Activities Park  – Rochester’s newest 460 acre regional park with a 42 acre lake. Gamehaven has been a popular site for Minnesota High School races the past 4 years. Trails are built and maintained by volunteer members of the Rochester Active Sports Club. New trails are being added each year.

Minnesota Series Kids Fun Race

The Minnesota Series Kids Fun Race is designed to give children an opportunity to compete like their parents in a positive and fun environment. The Race is free to children ages 3 to 12.  Parent cyclists ride and race with the kids, providing motivational and physical support.

Race starts at 12:45 PM! Helmets are required. Register on-site only by 12:30pm.

Course Maps


All racers will cross the timing pads on each lap and at their finish. The finish line run out will be to the right and the lap line to the left.  Please take a moment to inspect before your start.


Pre-ride Information

The courses will be available for pre-riding Saturday, September 21st after 1:00 pm. There will be no pre-riding of the race courses once races have started. Riders found on the race courses are subject to disqualification in their class.

If you plan to ride at Gamehaven any days or weekends before the race please use the trail map below. Please stay out of the Scout Camp Area as indicated on the Gamehaven Trailforks Map


Gamehaven Scout Camping - Rentals

All reservations are made through the Gamehaven Scout Office - 507-287-1410

CAMPSITES 8 with water, 20 primitive   - $8.00/person/night  toilets and showers are located in the pool area. Some locations have porta-potties.

LODGES - Pheasant (shelter #2) & Deer Lodges (shelter #3) - $70/day -maximum occupancy 23 people)

6 CABINS – maximum occupancy 4 people – $25/per night/cabin -showers and toilets at the pool area

CAMPERS – no hookups - parking in the main parking lot.

FIRE RING – with firewood - $30/ day
