Come enjoy a bike filled weekend in Duluth!

The MN Series Powder Monkey is once again teaming up with the Kraus Anderson Bike Festival to provide an epic bike filled weekend.  Please refer to https://bikeduluthfestival.com/ for more information.  Friday night events include a Chainless Downhill. Saturday events include the Northern Exposure cross country race, enduro racing, downhill racing and kids/youth activities. Come see what the enduro craze is all about and test your technical skills. Or if you are looking for more cross country racing the Northern Exposure race is for you.  We highly encourage everyone to come Friday and Saturday to the KA Bike Festival, I can guarantee it will be time well spent!

COGGS and Spirit Mountain are once again excited to bring you a race course with unparalleled variety.  This year will again be a true test of your grit and stamina, 'The Modern Day Powder Monkey'

An offering of the annual Kraus Anderson Bike Duluth Festival, 'The Modern Day Powder Monkey' is a great way to get outside and enjoy testing your limits. Whether you are a spandex wearing carbon fiber riding Elite, or if you are just pulling down the mountain bike from the garage wall for the first time to see what the fuss is all about, this cross country style mountain bike race has something special in store for you!

The Kids Comp and Citizen lap is a combination of fun flowy singletrack and doubletrack.  The Kids Comp and Citizen courses DO NOT climb Spirit Mountain.

If you are concerned about not being able to hack the course, you can do it!!! Grab your bike and get ready!

The Sport, Comp and Elite classes will tackle Spirit Mountain.  The course begins with the fun flowy and technical singletrack and doubletrack at the bottom of Spirit Mountain. The course will then be a grinder up "The Puker" to the top. Your hard work will then be paid back in a fun, fast, and technical descent. There will be “A” and “B” lines to help reward those who have the “Send it” spirit in them.  The “A” line will feature a large drop and steep rocky chute where the “B” line will feature a rocky loam decent. Ride around will be available if neither is your cup of tea.

Sport Women will do 1 lap. Sport Men and Comp Women will do 2 laps. Comp Men and Elite Woman will do 3 laps. Elite Men will do 4 laps.

For more great cross country, enduro and downhill and general festival information, be sure to check out  www.bikeduluthfestival.com

See you all there!!
