RACE #4 - Dirt Spanker Classic

Race # 4 - Dirt Spanker Classic, Superior, WI, July 08, 2012

Get ready for another great race at Mt. Du Lac.

Race Description

Cross-Country Mountain Bike Race

First race at 9:00am

The Dirt Spanker course offers everything a great mountain bike race could ask for. One minute your legs are screaming as your try to distance the pack while climbing and the next you’re trying to hang on as you plunge back down. Mix in fast, rooty, hilly forested sections and you have a course where the strongest rider wins but everybody has a great time. The course is 5 miles in length and features one sustained climb each lap, along with long sections of classic Upper Midwest style singletrack.
