Memorial Classic
Red Wing, MN
The course in Red Wing offers something for everyone. Fast sections for the strong riders, tight and twisty single track for the technically adept, and a few good climbs for those people who like to go up. Sections of double-track scattered throughout the lap allow riders to ride their own race.
The Kids Comp and First Timer’s course this year will be very similar to years past. It is a nice mix of flowing single track and fairly mellow double track.
The Citizen course includes the best of the flowing single track on the bluff but will avoid the hardest climbs on the south side of the bluff. The course has a few changes from last year but will be about the same length as before. This year the Citizen riders will bypass the gully “woop-dee-doos” that used to come near the start of the lap. Instead we have included some of the single track at the far end of the course.
Sport, Comp and Expert riders will all ride the same loop this year. This is the standard full lap of the bluff including the heavenly “Stairway to Heaven” climb and a trip down into the rock quarry area and back out.

The course in Red Wing offers something for everyone. Fast sections for the strong riders, tight and twisty single track for the technically adept, and a few good climbs for those people who are happiest on the climbs. Sections of double-track scattered throughout the lap allow riders to pass when needed.
The Kids Comp course this year will be very similar to last year. It is a nice mix of flowing single track and fairly mellow double track.
The Citizen course is also similar to last year's course with the addition of some new single track and a longer "prologue" section to stretch the riders out. This lap will include most of the single track on the bluff but will avoid the hardest climbs on the south side of the bluff.
Sport, Comp and Expert riders will again ride the same shared lap. The lap is similar to last year, with the addition of a descent and climb on the far side of the bluff not used for quite a few years and a more technical section near the end of the lap. Sport, Comp and Expert will also do the extended "prologue" section to string riders out a bit more.
