A mountain bike stage race held every Labor Day weekend at Maplelag Resort. This is a great event for the whole family with races and age categories for every type of rider. The entire resort is reserved for the mountain bike event. Lodging is available onsite and limited camping. (Note: You must and please register before the event for camping) We have a dirt jump track for the kids, bonfire Sunday night, swimming, canoes, a great atmosphere. The race and course designed and promoted by mountain bikers.
Racing action begins on Saturday with a time trial followed by a short track racing in the afternoon. These events are a great tune up for Sunday's event. On Sunday the main event will be the cross-country mountain bike race. For more information, visit the event page at Maplelag MTB Event Page
Laddies Loppet Stage Race, Maplelag Resort, Callaway, MN
Minnesota Pro Kyia Anderson, who recently scored a top 5 finish at US Nationals in the Super D, will be leading a free skills clinic on Saturday morning from 11:00am to 12:30pm. Kyia will be showing riders secrets to riding the lakeside drops, bike handling skills for technical riding and the importance of track stands.

Shimano Kids Race Description
The Shimano Youth Series is designed to give children an opportunity to compete like their parents in a positive and fun environment. Over the years, the Shimano Youth Series has expanded to include over 100 races per year, reaching over 5000 kids.
The Shimano Youth Series is free to children ages 3 to 12. Kids receive a t-shirt, a numberplate, and a shiny new gold medal. Parent cyclists ride and race with the kids, providing motivational and physical support.
Race starts at 12:45 PM! Helmets are required. Register on-site only, Sunday, September 6th by 12:30pm.
On Line Registration ends on September 3rd at 10:00 PM
Prizes will be provided for 1st - 3rd place in each age class for Kids Comp, Citizen, Sport, Comp, Expert, & Pro classes. Top finishing Elite Group (Experts and Pros combined) will receive cash awards. See the MNSCS Guidelines for payout details.
