Cross-Country Mountain Bike Race
The Afton Alps cross-country course covers a six-mile loop, overlooking the beautiful St. Croix River Valley. These trails offer some of the best single track in the Twin Cities area, along with some great descents and climbs.
Food and beverages will be available for sale during race day. After race watermelon, drinks, and snacks are complimentary for all participants.

The Shimano Youth Series is designed to give children an opportunity to compete like their parents in a positive and fun environment. Over the years, the Shimano Youth Series has expanded to include over 100 races per year, reaching over 5000 kids.
The Shimano Youth Series is free to children ages 3 to 12. Parent cyclists ride and race with the kids, providing motivational and physical support.
Race starts at 12:45 PM! Helmets are required. Register on-site only, Sunday, June 19 by 12:30pm.
There will be no bib pickup or registration at Afton Alps on Saturday, June 18th. However the course will be open for pre-riding with purchase of a trail pass from 12pm-7pm.
Race day registration and bib pick-up opens at 7:30 a.m. at the Alps Chalet. Registration and bib assignment end 1/2 hour before the start of each race.

Prizes will be provided for 1st - 3rd place in each age class for Kids Comp, Citizen, Sport, Comp, Expert, & Pro classes. Top finishing Elite Group (Experts and Pros combined) will receive cash awards. See the MNMBS Guidelines for payout details.

From St. Paul/Minneapolis take I-94 east to the CR-15 Manning Ave. exit(exit #253). Head south on Manning Ave. for 7 miles. Take a left onto 70th Street South, heading east for approx. 3 miles, then follow the signs into Afton Alps.
